When to Contact the Treatment Team

Contact your treatment team in case of:

  1. Fever (temperature greater than 101.3oF or 38.5oC).

  2. Bleeding gums or a nosebleed that does not stop when gentle pressure is applied.

  3. Blood in the urine or bowel movements.

  4. Easy bleeding or petechia (i.e. tiny, red spots on the surface of the skin, which do not blanch when gentle pressure is applied).

  5. Exposure to chicken pox, shingles, measles, or other contagious diseases.

  6. Headaches that do not go away after taking mild painkillers

  7. Change in appetite or fluid intake.

  8. Rash or change in skin colour.

  9. Change in vision, hearing, balance or activity level.

  10. Constipation (no bowel movement in three days or very hard bowel movement).

  11. Pain upon urination or bowel movement.

  12. Continuous coughing or an increased rate of breathing.

  13. Pale skin (pallor) or lack of energy.

  14. Before allowing the child to undergo any vaccination, treatment procedure, or dental cleaning.

  15. ANYTHING ELSE THAT WORRIES YOU OR ABOUT WHICH YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.
