Bank Employees Combat Childhood Cancer

Bank Employees Combat Childhood Cancer
Royal Bank congratulates the Sian Bradwell Fund for their commitment to helping children with cancer and is proud of our employees' support of this organization.

Childhood cancer is perhaps one of the saddest situations that a child can be in. Between treatment and the emotional toll on a child, the disease can drastically alter the lives of affected children as well as their families.

Raising funds to help children with cancer is the main goal of the Sian Bradwell Fund. Royal Bank employees in Toronto and Montreal are active participants in the fund raising and volunteering for this organization.

In 2000, three employees in Montreal assisted in the organization of the Sian Bradwell Softball Tournament. Many employees from local branches came out to support the event with donations, fund raising initiatives and volunteering their time at the tournament. All funds donated and raised went towards the purchase of medical equipment for the Montreal Children's Hospital.

Royal Bank congratulates the Sian Bradwell Fund for their commitment to helping children with cancer and is proud of our employees' support of this organization. Their fundraising and assistance show a commitment to the community as well as to children affected by this disease.
